Jay Electronica Released "Better in Tune With the Infinite" at a Fan's Request

Jay Electronica‘s powerful new single “Better in Tune With the Infinite” has been one of the main topics on the tongues of hip-hop fans over the last few days. Today we get further insight to why the song released when it did, and it turns out we have a fellow fan to thank. While at SXSW over the weekend, Electronica sat down with Mass Appeal and explained that a fan requested that he release the song after seeing the song title included on a tracklist, and, with him being in good spirits thanks to the festival, he decided to take the advice.  It was a dude on Twitter, he was talking about me walking around at South By Southwest, and he was like, I feel like it would be a perfect time to release “Better in Tune,” right? But he was only saying that because of a tracklist; he never heard that record. So I was like, why did he say that song? I tweeted him back like, okay, you know what? I’ma take your suggestion.
