On display at the Sala Arte Canal in Madrid, the “Fernando Alonso Collection” showcases the world
On display at the Sala Arte Canal in Madrid, the “Fernando Alonso Collection” showcases the world of Formula One driving as well as Fernando Alonso‘s storied career. Organized by the Canal de Isabel II and the Fernando Alonso Foundation, the exhibition is housed in a 2,000 square meter venue where the dark structure of the heritage site is juxtaposed against the bright color palette of the temporary exhibition, in addition to the pure intensity of being a Formula One driver. The installation layout is based on that of a Formula One track coupled with sound effects and the futuristic lighting of the exhibition, allowing viewers to experience the excitement of professional racing. The retrospective will be on display until May 4, 2014.
