Working with historical fabric suppliers Harris Tweed and silk manufacturers Stephen Walters & Sons, the Crafted collection serves as the premium end of the Dr. Martens range of footwear. These materials are combined with long-established manufacturing techniques and focus on styles derived from classic British footwear craftsmanship and the brand’s extensive archive.

The collection was highlighted at an event at the Dr. Martens store on Neal Street in London. Hosted by Hypebeast, the event was attended by Dr. Martens Creative Director Damien Wilson and UK Production Manager Stephen Bent who together offered guests a detailed account of the line’s design, heritage and UK manufacturing process.

The Crafted Collection is made at the Dr. Martens’ original UK factory in Wollaston, Northamptonshire and is currently available at the Dr. Martens Neal St store and other selected outlets.
