Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake

After last week’s leaked image of the British brand’s new XFR-S Sportbrake, Jaguar has officially lifted the veil on the newest member of its relatively small but growing lineup of luxury automobiles. Set to make its official debut at next month’s Geneva Auto Show, the high-performance wagon will be aiming to go head-to-head with both Mercedes and Audi and their respective wagons. The Sportbrake shares the same engine as the XFR-S Sedan, a Supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 with a top speed of approximately 186 mph, 542 horsepower, as well as competitive fuel economy. The wagon will be available in the United Kingdom as of April 1, 2014 sporting a steep base price of £82,495 GBP (approximately $137,700 USD).
