Following foundation more than 30 years ago, Nike ACG announces its reintroduction into the world of modern sportswear as NikeLab ACG. Originally designed to provide durable protection in all environments, the new collection is built to “deliver sport utility for the city.” With mobility and weather protection at the forefront of each design, the new NikeLab ACG Apparel Collection features footwear, outerwear and portable storage.
“Representing the future of sport style innovation,” Berlin-based designer Errolson Hugh combines his extensive knowledge with pioneering materials such as Nike Flyknit, Nike Dri-FIT Wool and Nike Tech Fleece to create a range of products set to meet the demands of every urban metropolis. As the co-founder of German label Acronym, Hugh’s reputation for the culmination of technicality within clothing proceeds him — promising a strong collection that reflects his experience.
Geared to suit the needs of the modern athlete, Nike’s latest editorial feature writes, ”Throughout the day, the typical urbanite navigates between crowded and humid subways, windy bridges, exposed streets, temperate work environments, and intimate and warm social settings. While the ACG collection protects against the most extreme wind and rain, it also offers flexibility to move between climates.” So should you experience any of the above on a regular basis and want to learn more about NikeLab ACG, be sure to check out the interview with Errolson Hugh here.
