Nike adds to its Nike KD7 line with a new EXT iteration dubbed “Longhorn State.” Paying homage to Kevin Durant‘s collegiate career at the University of Texas, the new silhouette takes inspiration from the university’s rich Southern heritage, utilizing a bold animal print upper constructed with all-over pony hair. Complementing black accents decorate the silhouette’s signature mid strap, tongue, laces and swooping midsole as additional animal print adorns the insole. A contoured gum sole fitted with a responsive Zoom Air Bag cushioning finishes the vibrant basketball sneaker. The Nike KD7 EXT “Longhorn State” will release on January 9 at select Nike accounts and the brand’s online store.
