With Lupe Fiasco’s forthcoming album Tetsuo & Youth finally on track for a January release, the Chi-town rapper dropped the video to his first single “Deliver,” which came out last month. Despite setbacks with the album release date, Lupe’s introduction to his upcoming project is powerful, depicting that classic wit and striking lyricism expected of the artist. With some help from Ty Dolla $ign, “Deliver” follows a seemingly innocent story of a young child biking around the city for pizza that darkens upon the realization that restaurants don’t deliver to the kids’ dangerous neighborhood.
