Beyoncé, Jay Z & Timbaland Faces Legal Issues over Sample used in "Drunk In Love"

Although JAY Z’s alleged copyright infringement for “Run This Town” was recently dismissed, he and his wife may be facing a bit of dilemma from another case. Today, Hungarian singer Monika Miczura Juhasz, also known as Mitsou, claims in a lawsuit that she was “sampled and digitally manipulated without her permission, to evoke foreign eroticism alongside the sexually intense lyrics” on Beyoncé‘s hit single “Drunk In Love,” which features both JAY Z and Timbaland. This is not the first time with the issue; earlier in March Future had already voiced his concern on Hot 97 for not being credited as a co-writer of the track.
