Hungarian folk singer Mitsou is suing Beyoncé claiming that the multi-Grammy Award winning superstar used an unlicensed sample and manipulated vocals for the hit track “Drunk in Love.” The original recording stems from a 1995 traditional Roma song, which Mitsou states was unjustly used and altered, naming Beyoncé, husband Jay Z and producer Timbaland in the lawsuit. News of the recent filing comes off the heels of a separate case accusing Jay Z of ripping lyrics in his “Run This Town” single featuring Rihanna; allegations which were subsequently dropped and ruled against.
