When touring around the nation, it’s not at all uncommon to show love to the local talent, especially when coming through a city such as Atlanta – a hotbed for rising emcees and producers who are leading the way for hip-hop’s avant-garde movement down South. This past Saturday at ATL’s The Tabernacle, Tyler, The Creator brought out local budding rap sensation Father to perform his summer single, “Look At Wrist.” This wasn’t the first time the rapper has shared the stage with Odd Future as he turned up with Earl Sweatshirt at this year’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival. Watch above as Tyler switches to hype man duty during Father’s performance which definitely got the crowd going as they screamed that viral hook. If you haven’t heard of Father, you can check out his Young Hot Ebony mixtape from September right here.
