Modest Mouse - Lampshades on Fire

Indie legends Modest Mouse have shared the first single from their forthcoming studio album, Strangers to Ourselves. “Lampshades on Fire” is the band’s first new song in years, as the quarter have remained quiet regarding new silences since their 2007 effort, We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank. Modest Mouse’s sixth LP, Strangers to Ourselves, is set to see release on March 3 via Epic Records. Though this is the first time the song has been heard in high-resolution audio, the song has been part of the group’s live shows for a few years now.
