As the project continues in its charitable endeavors — its previous pair achieved a total $20,378.00 USD for the National Resources Defense Council that helps fight against Global Warming — the latest “Midnight Mission” pair sees proceeds from its purchase donated to the Los Angeles Midnight Mission non-profit organization that offers food, shelter, recreation and counseling for those that live in Skid Row – an impoverished area within the city’s downtown district. This year marks the organization’s 100th year of service, so it seemed only fitting to help the cause further with this latest iteration. The pair itself offers another form of comfort with its extremely cozy fleece upper that makes the sneaker lightweight and easy to wear.
