After paying a visit to Pininfarina‘s headquarters in Cambiano, Italy for HYPEBEAST Magazine Issue 8: The Perspective Issue to talk about its Sergio concept car, Ferrari has announced a limited production run of the famed concept car. Named after the late Sergio Pininfarina, the super car’s design pays tribute to the man who laid the foundation for which the brand currently sits on via signature lines, techniques and principles — a project spearheaded by his son, Paolo Pininfarina. Based on Ferrari’s 458 Spider, it’s powered by the latest 605 hp 4497 cc V8 engine, offering up a 0 to 60 mph time of 3 seconds flat. The two-seater barchetta features Ferrari-sourced internals, levelled proportions and elegant curves, all of which culminate in a handsome looking vehicle. With the first production version of the Pininfarina Sergio arriving in the United Arab Emirates, the other five limited-edition models are set to be distributed elsewhere across the globe.
