Philly beat architect Baauer sets out on an inspiration quest in a recent video acquired via Red Bull TV. In the recently released video, the artist proves his commitment to his craft, seeking out new, diverse sounds on a journey from New York city to United Arab Emirates to Japan. The video, which features NYC artist Nick Hook, shows the two on embarking on a life changing experience, delving in new cultures, food and sounds all to create new inspirations for future music. The duo can be seen record sounds from nature, including active volcanoes and monk drums. They head to the Aini tribe in Japan and record their vocal chants and traditional instruments from a culture that is dying out. Definitely a fascinating watch.
