The LA-based blues-rock troubadour, Hanni El Khatib, has shared the official music video for his forthcoming album’s title track, “Moonlight.” Despite the ubiquitous product placement throughout the video, director Daniel Pappas manages to skillfully build suspense in this visual piece that would fit perfectly as an introduction to your modern-day slasher film. In a recent interview El Khatib described his latest project as “a bit more experimental in terms of instrumentation…and even a bit darker in mood” than his previous Dan Auerbach-produced Head in the Dirt. Watch this interesting movie/commercial above. Moonlight will be available January 20.
