The xx Ripped Off by Hugo Boss?

Young Turks, the music label behind the widely popular British group The xx, has made some pretty serious accusations regarding an ad campaign released by the German fashion brand earlier this year. The band’s label has taken to Twitter to inform the public of the suspicious similarities between The xx’s song “Intro” and the song used by Hugo Boss in their recent sunglass commercial. There is yet to be a response from Boss, yet Young Turks seems convinced the song is a ripoff, going as far as tweeting “as a firm built around original design, isn’t it odd that you’d pay for such a poorly disguised fake?” Young Turks can also be quoted as calling the controversial ad soundtrack “pretty awful” and “so gross.” Have a listen to the two tracks below and see what you think.
