PJ Harvey Covers Nick Cave

English singer-songwriter PJ Harvey has released a cover of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ “Red Right Hand” that is haunting and fittingly timed for Halloween. The cover comes from the song off the 1994 album Let Love In, and it was produced for the BBC TV drama titled “Peaky Blinders.” The show’s music producer recruited the artist due to criticism from audiences, claiming the show was “too American.” Well, whether the song helps spruce up the shows appeal or not, the artist’s rework is certainly worth a listen due to its ominous and uneven melody that sends a shiver through your body.
