Thurz - Designer (EP Stream)

It’s an old-school type of party in Thurz’s funk-infused Designer EP that’s now streaming via Red Bull Sound Select’s SoundCloud before its official release next week. On this 7-track sample executively produced by Marlon Barrow, we’re given a taste of the Inglewood rapper’s development since dropping L.A. Riot back in 2011. Always looking to push the envelope for his fans, Thurz’s “Right Now” and “21” set the tone for this refreshing, upbeat production. Following this colorful, funky vibe on the first four tracks, Designer takes a sharp turn with a DJ Dahi produced banger “Money Over Bullsh*t.” The project also features appearance by BJ The Chicago Kid, Clyde Carson, HS87’s Preston Harris, and many more.
