Party Supplies and Action Bronson continue their artistic partnership with a new track entitled “The Light In the Addict.” Party Supplies labelmate Black Atlass guests on hook duties, but the spotlight here is on Party Supplies and the soulful, inventive boom-bap styling they’ve adopted for this track. The song is based on the “theme” of “nothing is perfect,” and the duo tells Billboard the track is the “sound of hope and survival and the crossroads of good and bad.” Party Supplies even took some of their inspiration for the song’s vocals from the Van Morrison track “Moondance.” You can check out “The Light In the Addict” above.
