Initially seen in Nike‘s official press release back at the beginning of the month, we now present a closer look at the Nike Lunar Force 1 Sneakerboot “Barkroot.” Although the iconic silhouette appears virtually untouched, this hybrid footwear creation features a bevy of winterized upgrades. For starters, its premium leather upper sports contrasting nubuck panels around its ankle, a larger heel tab, reinforced eyelets, a mesh tongue, and a seamless toe box. All of the above rests atop a comfortable Lunar midsole with a rugged, gum-colored outsole for superior traction. The “Barkroot” edition is currently available at select retailers, including Premier for $155 USD.
