Odessa - I Will Be There (JMC Phantogram Remix)

Joshua Carter, half of the electronic duo Phantogram, has released a reboot to Odessa’s “I Will Be There.” As usual with JMC reworks, the producer spawned an entirely new creature with this one. The once pleasant, uplifting pop track is transformed into a darker, menacing and somewhat deranged cut. Though he retains Odessa’s stunning core vocals, JMC’s newly hatched remix definitely takes on a life of its own. Phantogram will start their 2014 Canada tour this December in Motreal.
