A Look Inside Ne.Sense's Taipei Store

Extending their foray from creative consultancy to retail, Ne.Sense recently took to its hometown to unveil its first outpost. Keeping to the label’s simple yet refined sensibility, the store spans two floors and is outfitted to combine elements of a showroom and that of a pop-up store. Drawing cues from the five elements of Chinese philosophy — water, fire, wood, metal and earth — the modern interior omits standard white walls for a semi-dismantled semblance. Exposed concrete panels and rugged brickwork are complemented by geometric wooden shelves and magnetic hangers showcasing the latest designs from SECOND/LAYER, Stampd and Cmmn Swdn. A dangling branch in the room’s center offers tranquility while also leads one’s gaze to the VIP loft that overlooks the spacious store.
