Since his scary collapse and subsequent three-day coma during his NYC show last month, August Alsina has fully recovered and is back to his studio grind. Yesterday, the R&B singer released his new track, “Grindin’,” along with the visual accompaniment to the song. In this latest one, the video is straightforward and his message is clear: He’s back hustling and though he’s grateful for those who showed support, he hasn’t forgotten the one’s who disrespected him. “A lot of these lames kept hatin’ on a ni**a / When I took a little fall you was steppin on a ni**a,” he sings on this Knucklehead production. In related news, August will be touring with Usher on his ‘UR Experience’ tour kicking off next month. Check out the N.O.-singer’s new track above.
