If we know anything about Kanye West, it’s that he’s highly influential – especially during live performances. American audiences should recall 2008’s ’Glow in the Dark Tour,’ that which spawned a legion of shutter shades-wearing backpackers for years to come. Perhaps we can expect a similar result from the Yeezus tour – Kanye’s first solo tour in over five years – which was recently announced. Starting in Seattle on October 19, Yeezy will make his way across the top of the Midwest, circling over the East Coast (with two stops in New York), and will end the tour in Houston, Texas. Notably, Yeezy will enlist burgeoning rap icon Kendrick Lamar for many stops on the tour, which will thus bring together two of the great live performers in rap music.
