Canblaster - I Think About U

As one of the leading members of Paris’ Club Cheval crew, Canblaster has helped cement much of Paris’ contemporary dance scene, one that’s seen a resurgence since the demise of electro in the late noughties. His latest offering sees the release of “I Think About,” an introvert dance tune from his forthcoming six-track EP, Infinite. Released via Surkin and Para One’s Marble imprint, the release shows the artist’s interpretation of r&b and modern-pop, where vocal samples are cut amid a slow and poignant tempo. Layered with lush ambient synths and distant organs, the stripped back production is a compelling listen, presenting itself as another progressive rendering from the dancefloor destroyer.
