While AAPE by A Bathing Ape has never been a brand to shy away from the trend, it also has a subtle way of improving it. This is most clearly seen in the brand’s Fall/Winter 2013 lookbook, which has been recently unveiled to the public. Here we find motifs such as camouflage, American flags and long-sleeved athletic T-shirts presented in full force, yet the approach always seems natural and stylish. For instance, the stars and stripes play nicely off of a decidedly red, navy and white flannel, while appearances of military silhouettes make appropriate use of camouflage.
