It’s this sort of motif that ardent collectors such as Robert Brooks adhere to in their own collection. While some collectors flaunt their collection from a hip-hop perspective, Brooks’ affinity for retro adidas profiles came from the connection with football and UK’s sound system culture in the ’70s.
