Last fall’s so-called “Off Mountain Series” was introduced by Nike as an evolution of sorts to its former Nike 6.0 line, geared specifically toward the harsh weather of fall and winter thanks to a variety of rugged, weather-proof applications to a variety of “action sports” footwear silhouettes. Kicking off this season’s OMS collection is a brand new design: the ACG-branded Air Alder Low. Inspired by the likes of the ACG Air Mada – whose design cues are most obvious in the Alder’s lug rubber outsole and phylon-/Air-cushioned midsole combo – the low-top trail shoe sports an upper of water-repellant suede and synthetics, a mesh tongue, rope laces, midsole speckling, and reflective details throughout. Pictured here in a Black/Sail-Sonic Yellow-Mercury Grey colorway, the Air Alder Low is now available via Premier for $90 USD.
