When Taka Hayashi began working on his latest Vans Vault footwear collection, the designer looked to both classic silhouettes and the style of the late ’80s and early ’90s for inspiration. The result is a bold and luxurious re-imagining of Steve Caballero‘s classic signature Half Cab for Fall 2013. Sporting batik-inspired prints throughout, the mid-top kicks see everything from perforated paneling and custom embroidery to premium materials and revamped branding. Offering black and “Classic Blue” colorways, the Taka Hayashi x Vans Vault Fall 2013 TH Half Cab LX “Batik” Pack is set to hit Vans Vault stockists beginning this September.
