Originally released in 1993, the 1500 has been tapped by Copenhagen’s Norse Projects for Fall 2013 as the label ushers in the season with its second collaboration alongside New Balance. Dubbed the “Danish Weather” pack, the release takes inspiration from the autumnal change of Copenhagen’s lush green forests to hues of brown and burnt orange – not to mention the grey skies and never-ending rain that settles over the Danes for about eight months of the year. New Balance aficionados will notice that the UK-made 1500′s usual embroidered branding has been modified and replaced with that of the 993 as a nod to the aesthetic and heritage of past NB models. Teased here, the New Balance by Norse Projects 2013 Fall “Danish Weather” Pack is due out this Friday, August 9 and will be revealed ahead of its impending release.
