With a new trilogy of Star Wars films in the works and an animated show set to release in fall of 2014, it looks like fans of the legendary sci-fi series might have yet another development to look forward to: a Star Wars live-action television show. According to ABC Entertainment Group’s president, Paul Lee, ABC is kicking off discussions with Lucasfilm about making the TV series a reality. Although talks of a show are still in the early stages, Disney‘s acquisition of Lucasfilm is definitely bringing a lot of exciting developments for Star Wars fans, with J.J. Abrams signing on to direct the recently announced Star Wars Episode VII and the recent teaser of its animated series.
