Luke Bryan Dominates Charts with 'Crash My Party'

Luke Bryan easily claimed the number one spot on the charts this week by selling over 500k copies of his new album Crash My Party. The country artist has had success in the past with his last two albums receiving platinum certification, but this is the first time Bryan has reached the top of the charts. Oddly enough, this is the third week in a row the number one spot has been claimed by a new face with The Civil Wars and Robin Thicke earning the position the previous two weeks. K. Michelle debuted second this week by moving 68k units of her album Rebellious Soul. The Civil Wars’ self-titled album and Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines placed fourth and fifth respectively while Jay Z followed behind in sixth, exiting the top five for the first time since Magna Carta… Holy Grail debuted over a month ago.
