The O'My's - Cough Drop

The O’My’s, a Chicago-based rock ‘n’ soul group, have been one of the better kept secrets of the city’s thriving local music scene. Over the last few years, they’ve worked heavily with production duo Blended Babies and have collaborated with some of the Windy City’s most notable emcees including Twista, The Cool Kids, GLC and Chance The Rapper. Now, with their city behind them, The O’My’s are gearing up to release a new project entitled A Humble Masterpiece. By showcasing both lead singer Maceo Haymes’s stunning falsetto and the skillful work of keyboardist Nick Hennessey, the project’s first single, “Cough Drop,” serves as a worthy introduction the band’s soulful sound.
