adidas Unveils the D Howard 4

As newly-signed Houston Rockets star Dwight Howard gets set to kick off a preseason tour across Asia, adidas has unveiled Howard’s latest signature footwear silhouette: the aptly-dubbed D Howard 4. Built for both speed and power, the kicks have been honed for Howard’s game thanks to a comfortable and supportive upper in combination with a lightweight Crazyquick-inspired outsole. Dominating the upper is a spiral wave pattern – inspired by Howard’s own playing style and the way in which he circles the paint to protect the rim, block shots and grab rebounds – while this specific colorway is meant to reflect the NBA All-Defensive Team stalwart’s personality and stand out on the court. Look for Howard to rock the Yellow/Gold/Blue edition of the D Howard 4 as he makes stops in Seoul, Taipei, Hong Kong, Hangzhou, Chengdu and Beijing, from August 16 through August 26. The adidas D Howard 4 is due to be available in a trio of colorways beginning November 1 while two more colorways are set to drop this December.
