Inspired by a shared passion, and the lack of quality fish and chips across the English Channel, James Whelan and Michael Greenwold teamed up as The Sunken Chip — a new fast food restaurant driven to produce the old English classic at an affordable price without forgoing quality. Sourcing the freshest produce from local fishmongers, the recipes remains classic throughout, with any slight modernization regarded as improvements. Alongside the iconic fish and chips menu which includes obscure classics like the chip butty and the battered sausage, an array of British timeless sweets — sherbet dips and refreshment bars — continues the restaurant’s quaint motifs. Finished with a cheeky disposition and a modern interior, The Sunken Chip adds new and quirky riffs to Paris‘s eateries.
