Katsuhiro Otomo x Kosuke Kawamura x A Bathing Ape 2013 "Re:construct" Collection

Exploring artistic dispositions outside of its immediate fashion abilities, A Bathing Ape has teamed up with Japanese animators Katsuhiro Otomo and Kosuke Kawamura to present “Re:construct” — an art exhibit showcasing both artists’ majestic offerings. Expect a slew of quintessential Japanese animations that merge vibrant graphics with detailed imagery, alongside the airing of AKIRA and Short Peace — a narrative-heavy film that took nine years to create. “Re:construct ” will be held at BAPE GALLERY KYOTO on July 20 – be sure to pop down if you’re in the area.
