BTNC Discusses its Reebok 30th Anniversary Classic Leather

The latest HYPEBEAST TV production sees us hitting up the Los Angeles suburb of Fullerton in Southern California for a closer look at BTNC and the streetwear boutique’s collaborative take on Reebok‘s iconic Classic Leather in honor of the storied silhouette’s 30th anniversary. As BTNC designer/manager Glen Repol shows, BTNC’s Classic Leather plays on the timeless look of the design, updating its typically understated look with a bold aesthetic inspired by that of British camouflage. Modified from its original form, the earth-toned pattern adopts a splattered paint motif – in contrast to the British version’s usual brush strokes – while subtle BTNC branding appears throughout and is incorporated within the repeating pattern of the upper. Finally, bright orange lines the interior not just because the hue is a classic complement to the camouflage, but because it also represents the city of Fullerton. The BTNC x Reebok Classic Leather 30th Anniversary is due out at the SoCal boutique and across the Reebok Certified Network later this summer.
