J. Cole’s latest album Born Sinner opened in the number two spot and landed at the same spot in its second week of sale, behind Kanye West’s Yeezus and Wale’s The Gifted respectively, Billboard indicates that Cole’s opus may be moving up to number one on next week’s chart. Born Sinner is expected to sell approximately 60,000 copies during the week ending July 7. This would be enough to beat out the week’s new releases, which include titles by R&B singer Joe and pop/rock band Relient K, as well as the new Hillsong live album Glorious Ruins, after spending the last two weeks in the runner-up spot. The biggest of those titles should be Joe’s Double Back: Evolution of R&B with around 25,000.
