Ray Barbee is the effigy of success, having maintained a legendary, prolific career in skateboarding for more than 20 years. Despite his relative age, Barbee continues to push the boundaries of not only skateboarding, but other creative endeavors, as his interests span the disciplines of music, photography, and other mediums of art. The legendary skater stopped by Berlin’s BRIGHT Tradeshow to talk about his creative process, the tentative date for the new Vans video, and trying not to let photography consume his time.
