Nina Simone - Feeling Good (Bassnectar Remix)

As part of the Verve Remixed: The First Ladies project, Bassnectar has reworked an American jazz classic, “Feeling Good” by Nina Simone, and incorporated a heavy trap-style sound to the soulful vocals. Creating audio harmony through a clash of music generations, the Californian producer joined the likes of Kaskade, RAC, Zeds Dead and Pretty Lights in bringing a modern electronic twist to these downtempo — yet insanely powerful — vocals of legendary ladies, including Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald.
