Valentino‘s 2014 spring collection fuses the distinct worlds of military and workwear, and showcases the talents of Creative Directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli’s. Together both show great aptitude when faced with the task of detailing the simplest structured silhouettes with unconventional materials, patterns and textures. Recreating the traditional suit and blazer with weathered camouflage and denim, the apparel was paired with rubber-thong footwear — a product of Valentino‘s latest collaboration with Brazilian label Havaianas.
