Ray-Ban‘s celebrated Wayfarer silhouette has been duplicated and mimicked throughout the years, but the timeless eyewear brand has managed to maintain the integrity of the original. Part of this sustainability of a classic can be accredited to the brand’s ability to reinvent the Wayfarer model in new and inventive executions. For Spring/Summer 2013, Ray-Ban introduces the Folding Wayfarer Collection. Adding a level of convenience and transportability to the design, each of the monochromatic frames are collapsible into the size of one of the singles lenses. Availability is now offered through select Ray-Ban stockists as well as the Ray-Ban Japan website. Retail is set at approximately ¥25,200 JPY (approximately $258 USD).
