Polls: PlayStation 4 vs. Xbox One

The time has come again where we pit two highly anticipated products head-to-head and ask you guys (the readers) which one you’re most excited to get your hands on. With the unveiling of so much video game-related news this week at E3, we really want to know your thoughts on the question that a lot of gamers have been asking: Are you buying the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One? I imagine that a few out there probably share a similar scenario with me, growing up with the PlayStation system and feeling a sense of loyalty to the name, but that’s not to say that the Xbox doesn’t deliver a just as entertaining gaming experience. Sentimental value aside, both the Xbox and PlayStation have amassed a large fan base thanks to cult franchises such as Halo, Forza, Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy to name but a few, and sometimes having exclusive titles is enough to sway some diehard fans to the competition — heck I’ve even owned both consoles at one point in time just so I could ‘bro out.’ Moving on, with the Xbox and PlayStation 4 roughly priced at $500 USD and $400 USD, respectively, and both looking like some futuristic VCR players — not to fear as it’s almost certain that they’ll be making slim versions later down the road — we’d like to hear from you on which one you’ll be picking up come release date and why.
