Billboard called it a Hip-Hop Super Tuesday. June 18 — the day three of the most hyped rap entity — Kanye West, J. Cole and Mac Miller — dropped their albums. The hype surround all three releases is expected to be visible in the respective first-week sales as early forecasts indicate. While Kanye’s Yeezus could sell 360,000 to 380,000 by the end of the tracking week, Cole’s Born Sinner is expected to move 150,000 to 200,000 and Mac Mizzle’s Watching Movies With the Sound Of around 100,000. Sure, record sales might be a strong signal but it sure is not everything. Hence, we decided to dedicate HYEPTRAK’s first poll ever to this Hip-Hop Super Tuesday, so we can hear from you what album is your personal favorite release so far and why.
