Japanese fashion staple NEXUSVII delivers a directional pair of sunglasses, prepping us for the hot summer days. Aptly titled “Madmaxx,” the sunglasses draws inspiration from the 1979 dystopian action film with compelling retro styling throughout. The brass frames are made with the help of Fukui Prefecture Sabae, while the brass arms see detailed and inspired engraving. Elsewhere, the anti-reflective shades feature a beige tint, adding to the all-round vintage sensibility. The NEXUSVII “Madmaxx” Sunglasses will be made available from the brand’s online store from June 21 onwards.
