UPDATE: Kanye West Performs New Music at Governors Ball
While there hasn’t been a lot of music from Yeezus that has appeared online, Kanye West presented

While there hasn’t been a lot of music from Yeezus that has appeared online, Kanye West presented some new material during his headlining gig at Governors Ball Music Festival in New York tonight. While debuting a few of previously unheard songs besides “New Slaves”, “Black Skinhead,” Yeezy took a minute to address his recent, rather unconventional promotion strategy for Yeezus.
“Honestly, when I listen to radio, that ain’t where I wanna be no more. At this point, I could give a fuck about selling a million records, as long as I put out an album that you can rock to all motherfucking summer.”
And judging from the material he presented last night, he sure is not chasing radio airplay with his new offering. Watch the available YouTube videos below.
In related news, the three-day weekend event on Randall’s Island was dampened by tropical storm Andrea, which caused numerous schedule delays, as other headlining acts Kings of Leon and Pretty Lights were unable to perform due to the heavy rains and wind. Yeezus arrives June 18.
