After laying dormant for almost 10 years, British performance car company TVR has been revived and with it the Sagaris. The story is that Russian owner Nikolai Smolenski bought the British carmaker back in 2004 for approximately £15 million pounds, but hadn’t produced a vehicle under the brand since the purchase. It was only recently that UK entrepreneur Les Edgar bought TVR from Smolenski for an undisclosed price. By the sounds of it, the raw, animal-like Sagaris is just the beginning as Edgar plans to bring back the marque in full force while retaining its British pride, saying, “You can’t let these great brands disappear or go abroad. The starting point was ‘let’s get it back.’”
