Despite having its origins deeply engrained within the core skate culture, Vans has managed to create substantial inroads into the broader “lifestyle” footwear category via brand extensions such as the Vans OTW line. One of the more successful silhouettes has been the mid-top Bedford. Having recently seen executions in a speckled wool material this past fall winter, the brand debuts the latest Bedford Canvas iteration. Mocked up in lightweight canvas material, the modernized shoe sees hits of contrasting light green against the predominant all-black upper. Threaded outdoor laces and metal eyelets round out the 2013 fall Bedford Canvas. Look for these to start hitting select Vans OTW shops through the next few months.
