Tyler, the Creator Turned Down Kanye West Feature on "IFHY"

Well here’s an interesting bit of news. It looks like Tyler, the Creator was offered an additional feature on his single “IFHY” from Kanye West, but instead he turned down the offer and just kept the vocal contribution from Pharrell. Taking to his Formspring account to talk directly to his fans, Tyler answered a fan’s question of why ‘Ye wasn’t on his “48” beat, to which he responded by saying:

cause it was mine. he wanted to be on IFHY too! but i was like, nah hahaha. ye is soo awesome, i talk to him almost everyday it seems like. its cool to have someone you can level with about art and everything else.

Also, with the rumors of Tyler appearing on Kanye’s upcoming Yeezus album on a track titled “Hyper Critical” floating around, he also addressed it by saying that he won’t be featured on it. Anyone else kind of curious as to what a track from Kanye and Tyler may sound like? Was it a good move on Tyler’s part by not getting the ‘Ye feature?
