Def Jam Names Shawn "Pecas" Costner Executive Vice President

You don’t often hear too much about the happenings within the Def Jam offices, but with the recent shifting that has taken place in the industry, it’s no surprise that the record label had an announcement to make today. Making the move from Island Def Jam to Def Jam, Shawn Costner has been promoted from being a Senior Vice President at the former to Executive Vice President at the latter. What this means for the future of the label and their undertakings remains to be seen, but this is what “Pecas” had to say about the promotion:
